How to Open a Chime Bank Account
Go to chime.com and click the Sign Up button at the top right. Enter your name, email address, and follow the instructions. An email address is required to open a Chime account. If you don’t already have one, there are free services available, but we recommend Gmail for Android users and iCloud for iPhone users. These are free and can be set up from your built-in mail app.
How Do I Deposit Cash into My Chime Account?
You can deposit cash at over 85,000 retail locations that partner with Chime. Simply ask the cashier to deposit the cash directly into your Chime account.
Cash deposits at Walgreens and Duane Reade locations are fee-free. Other third-party money transfer services may charge fees or impose cash deposit limits.
